The New Year

Hello all, I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year with family and friends. I love being in London at this time of year with everything that little bit more relaxed. Come Monday everything will be kicking off in ernest for the year ahead so I'm ensuring that this weekend is chilled and spent close to home.

I'm not one for setting resolutions but rather setting intentions for the year ahead. Last year was such a great year for me with so much positive change that I just want to keep the ball rolling in 2015. Even though I'm not one who naturally enjoys change I've kept with it and have learnt that it doesn't have to be that scary.

On the design side of things, one thing I believe we are going to see more of in 2015 is the use of greens, specifically the colour olive in interiors. The warm greys and inky darker tones are here to stay and olive sits beautifully within this colour spectrum. Below are some of my favourite images which I hope illustrate this point.
