I have been studying Interior Design at KLC for the last few years as an open learning student. Kicking off my studies after submitting course work is always a difficult, guilt ridden task. I submitted a module in July and gave myself the summer to relax and enjoy life, but now that the colder months are here I have no excuse to procrastinate further. So, I am taking myself off to the Barbican library this weekend to spend the day studying in an environment without distractions.
So far I've managed to organise lunch at Busaba Eathai at Old street, slot in a 45 minute swimming lesson at Bank (I'm working on my stroke) and buy tickets to the Barbican exhibition, 'Constructing Worlds: Photography and Architecture in the Modern Age'. This exhibition which ends early January, showcases 18 photographers from the 1930s to today who have photographed extraordinary buildings and structures across the globe.
